[REVIEW] Canmake Maxi Volume Rouge Lipstick #02 Pink Berry

Hello! I'm back with another review!

If You ready my last post, I talk about lucky bag that I received. I got Canmake Maxi Volume Rouge Lipstick which I assume already discontinued since I can't find it in their official website. I got in #02 Pink Berry.


There's nothing special about the packaging. Just a pink transparent box. 
The lipstick itself is a silver bullet with a small CANMAKE words. Inside the cap there's "maxi volume rouge " engraved. The color appear shimmering pink, pink to red berry. I was afraid of the color when I saw it first, it's kinda too pink for my liking. but, how is it? let's swatch it! 
As you can see, this lipstick is sheer. On the right I applied more than 3 times. The color do intensify a bit but I think after third layer it won't intensify more. 

 Here's swatch on my lips. Upper is my bare lips, and lower one is my lips using maxi vol rouge. The color seems nice to me, but I don't like shimmering lips :( I think the term volume comes from the shimmer so it'll reflect light thus making your lips look fuller.
It does moisturize my lips for 4-5 hours, after that I start to feel my lips drying. I did ate a bit and the lipstick is still there. But I do believe it won't last for more than 7 hours...
I won't repurchase it tho, I want to tried NYX lip cream..... >_<

Japan Beauty Week + Canmake Lucky Bag

Hello, how's your weekend guys?

Last Friday I went to Japan Beauty Week. It's a exhibition of Japanese cosmetics and skincare. The exhibition is not big, Only 7 stand appear there. They're Menard, Hadalabo, Kawaii Japan, Astalift, Kracie, and Kanebo.

When I arrived, Astalift already has presentation onstage so I rushed to sit and forget to take whole place, sorry :(
They're having presentation about their product, mainly skincare. They're explaining their main ingredients for their skincare, where they came from, and how it's work.
And they test the product on one of attendants. She applied it only on half face, and I swear I see that part is glowing~ 
The steps are: Cleansing - Foaming - Jelly Aquarista - Toner/Lotion - Essence Destiny - Emulsion. Jelly Aquarista and Essence Destiny is their best selling product. You can say it's their secret weapon haha. Jelly Aquarista acts as "primer", base for every treatment for your skincare routine. And Essence Destiny is their serum.  

In the end of presentation, we're allowed to see their stand and got skin check. As expected, my skin is so dry T_T Actually I'm combination, with oily on T-Zone. Their staff test on my cheek. Of course it's dry haha My score is 68 as it's suppose to be 90-ish. I have to take care of my skin better! 
And lastly, I got goodie bag! 

I got Cleansing foam, a 20% discount voucher, and their brochure. Luckily, it's a full size cleansing foam! and my friend didn't want her goodie bag so I got two! \(^w^)/ 

I want to buy Astalift Jelly Aquarista with my voucher. I feel I browsed for price and... 
IT'S FREAKING 1 MIO OMG

I can't afford it tho, even if I combine my two voucher ;_; But I saw trial kit, I might bought that and one full size thing I haven't decided >_< 

Other thing, I got sample from Kracie booth :D 
It's sample of their shampoo and conditioner. And I do their questionnaire so I got one sachet of their acne mask. 

I have't tried anything from Japan Beauty Week tho. I'll use them later~ 

And anyway, my package arrived! I ordered lucky bag from Canmake!
Did you know in every end of year, Japanese product will sell lucky bag? It's a bag, with stuff inside which is random and we can't choose. If you calculate, it's cheaper than buy separately. But it's random, you can't choose. It's your choice~
Usually, all girls queue and after they bought the lucky bag, they open it and trade their unwanted item with other people. That's why I didn't want to buy clothes since on most product we even can't choose size (there are some brand that allowed us to choose size actually) so I choose safer product which is makeup haha
Here's inside my lucky bag~

I got four item, Maxi Volume Rouge Lipstick #02 Pink Berry, Four Shiny Eyes #03 Milk Chocolate, Nuance Eyebrow Pencil #05 Light Brown and Mascara Remover. I can't find the lipstick on their website so I assumed it's already discontinued. 
I'm curious about mascara remover. I never heard any mascara remover so yeah.... Excited! XD

DAILY LIFE - How I Spend My Weekend

Last week I completely drown to entertain myself since my Exam already ended haha infact, I just came home from outing with my colleagues at Megamendung. It's so cold out there but most of my friend swam like they won't see another swimming pool outside the Villa haha

I went to JKT48 Theater to watch their first live of Dareka no Tame ni (Demi seseorang - For Someone) Performance.


I'm huge fans of them! I actually ever auditioned before but I already too old for that haha. I watched it twice, first at their shonichi (first day) and Sunday afternoon show.  I want to watch my oshimen (most liked member), Ghaida Farisya. She's the most handsome girl in the group. I easily fall for handsome girl ( • ̀///ω///•́ ) Their performance is not bad for first time but I know they can do it better tho.

On Sunday before the show, I went shopping to Gandaria City with my friend. I actually want to go to Central Park to visit Kay Collection shop. But the place is flooded so we change destination. Luckily Gandaria City also have Kay Collection shop so I splurge myself there.

That's all my damage haha Dollywink spree!! I bought Dollywink eyelashes #05 Real Nude and a limited edition package of Liquid eyeliner and Black mascara #02 Volume one. I was kinda off-track tho. I want to buy lower lash, eyelash glue, pencil eyeliner and a mascara. I actually want to buy Diamond Lash but if I only bought Dollywink eyelash glue it'll be more expensive so I bought eyelash with glue as a bonus. And for the package.. I thought it's pencil eyeliner ; v;)/ I was so stupid for not asking whether it's a pencil or liquid one. I already had Dollywink liquid eyeliner so I might sell my accidental bought one. 

Anyway, Kay is having a big discount. My Dollywink eyelash is discounted 30%, and as for package one if you spend IDR 500.000 for non discounted things you'll get a lucky draw, for another discount! Ranged 20-50%. I got 20% discount for that limited edition package. Please keep in mind my 30% discount and 20% is separated. And I don't know if the lucky draw is applied to another shop location. 

And last thing!
My face is breaking out so bad so I started to use this
Natural homemade mask from Herbeautymask. It really help me reduce my pimple slowly. I still had big red pimple so I'll continue to use this and maybe I can review it later.

Yeay! Finally I passed my last exam. It means my last semester in College already passed. What I'll do next is making proposal for research and make essay about my research. It's still long time to graduate tho, Wish me luck!

I want to review new product but my face is not in prime condition. I got big pimple on my cheek :(( There are THREE pimple, two on right and one on left. I've been itching to get rid of it, I tried everything including using lemon water as toner. It hurts like hell.. Still not showing any progress tho :( Wish me luck geeting rid of my pimple.

Anyway, here's upcoming product I'm going to review:

One Shu Uemura product and Three Fairydrops product. I always obsessed with Japanese Cosmetic haha Wait for my review, kay!

REVIEW AND SWATCH: Coastal Scents 42 Double Stack palette MATTE

Hello everyone! I'm going to review and swatch my newest palette, Coastal Scents 42 Double Stack palette MATTE. I bought this cutie at Black Friday sales. 

I have a fetish for palette. What ever it is, eyeshadow palette, lip-eye, you name it. I think it's pretty convenient to add everything into one box and carry it everywhere. I never finish any eyeshadow in my life so I don't mind having smaller pot on a palette.



This cutie have 42 eyeshadow and 8 blush. But they write 42 blush and eyeshadow so first time I read the title I think they had 42 color for blush LOL They should change the title. The eyeshadow have basic color range. The blush range is amazing, they had subtle pink to rose one. The only thing missing is brown blush for shading.
On the package you'll get three eyeshadow applicator. The bristle is soft but I won't use them.

The eyeshadow has nice pigmentation, but I strongly recommend you to use primer since it's too powdery. If you don't use primer, it won't stick to your eyelid and fall out when blended. 
Blush has nice pigmentation too. I don't have any objection for the blush. It's just missing a matte brown blush for shading. The only brown blush there has gold glitter, I can't use it for shading :( 

Overall I'm quite satisfied with this palette. I won't buy it again, it's already too much.
